The big news is the native support for Flash technology, which allows
the display of videos and a more dynamic format of the files in PDF
format. "It's the first we have a real integration between the
solutions of Macromedia and Acrobat," says Marta Clark, director of
Adobe's sales to Latin America. The Adobe acquired Macromedia - owner
of Flash - in 2005. According to Fabio Sambugaro, regional manager of
Adobe in Brazil, the announcement of Acrobat 8 was very close to the
acquisition and, hence, the tools had not yet native integration. For
access to these files, simply that the user has installed the Adobe
Reader 9, free program of the company. Also new is the possibility of
creating a portfolio with content from various formats in a single
file. For example, a folder with different information on the same
project - video, spreadsheets, text and 3D objects - just drag them
into the window of the software, which a PDF is created. You can
navigate and access the files through an interface in Flash. The
feature eliminates the need to send emails with various attachments, in
addition to improving safety.
